My approach is rooted in connection, education, and personalized interventions that align with each client’s goals—promoting growth, healing, and meaningful change. Reaching out can feel overwhelming, especially during personal or relationship struggles—but you’re not alone. Together, we’ll create a safe, judgment-free space to explore your story and work through challenges. Whether you're facing conflict, parenting issues, or tough emotions, I’m here to support you.
When I was a senior in high school, I began to struggle with severe anxiety and panic attacks. It wasn’t until I found a counselor that allowed me to feel comfortable sharing my insecurities and fears, that I learned to take control of my worries. I instantly felt more at ease when I knew I was going to see my counselor. That is when I realized: I want to be that sense of warmth and guidance for others. I obtained my Master’s degree in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling. I am EMDR trained and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, self-esteem and mood disorders. I am dedicated to utilizing the most effective treatment interventions that will match your needs. I understand that we all go through our own unique stories of both happiness and pain. I aim to be the person that can work with you to find greater health and healing in your life. I provide a safe, genuine, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel free to explore your true self.
In the therapeutic space, I aim to help clients develop a deeper understanding of their difficulties through exploration of historical and interpersonal experiences. As a product of this exploration, we identify patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that play a role in the development and maintenance of stress. With this new insight and understanding, and the application of specific coping skills and strategies, we are able to collaboratively work toward making the changes they desire in their lives. I enjoy working with individuals of all backgrounds and specialize in: depression, anxiety, grief/loss, cultural issues, and relational difficulties. As a South Asian immigrant, I am passionate about working with immigrants and adult children of immigrants who experience stressors such as: balancing a bicultural/multicultural identity, coping with generational trauma, navigating the barriers of a new country, and managing family expectations vs individual/personal desires. I also enjoy helping couples who seek to understand how personal family dynamics and experiences impact their relationship, or simply desire to enhance feelings of connectedness through healthy emotional expression, communication, and effective conflict resolution.

PHILOSOPHY I believe meaningful connections are at the center of the human experience. We are social beings that thrive when we feel accepted, connected, and loved. These feelings can give us the confidence to show up in the world as our authentic selves and embrace our uniqueness. When we have a deeper understanding of ourselves and engage in unconditional self-acceptance, we gain a greater capacity to have fulfilling relationships. APPROACH My clients find my style humorous and compassionate as well as engaging and down-to-earth. My approach is holistic, engaging in all aspects of your wellness, with consideration for your mind, body, spirit, and heart. Thinking of my client’s needs, I use an eclectic and integrative method, pulling from traditional, innovative, and evidence-based techniques. Some of the modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. My objective is to help my clients feel better as soon as possible, so I maintain a Solutions-Focused framework, offering direct feedback, actionable steps, and strategies to cope with current stressors. I am committed to having a therapeutic lens that is culturally sensitive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, health at every size acceptance, and social justice oriented. My ultimate goal is to assist you in identifying your unique gifts and using them to actualize your best self in the world.
Life isn’t what you expected. Something happened. Something happened that you never imagined would happen to YOU and it threw all of your life plans off course. Or maybe you look in the mirror today and just don’t recognize the person you see. Either way, your life has taken a turn and you’re in territory you never prepared for, never anticipated. You feel lost, scared, and alone. Guess what? You’re not. I can help you process the unexpected, regain control of yourself, and move forward to create life-altering change and establish a reality that is probably better than you can visualize right now. All you have to do is reach out. Together we'll identify what isn't working for you anymore (maybe it never has). We’ll direct attention to the solutions - working together to create a treatment plan, a way forward, using a combination of evidence-based practices. You deserve specialized care. I can provide that along with a caring, non-judgmental, safe space to explore and grow. I provide video psychotherapy to people in CA and WI. Want a free 10 minute phone consultation? As a licensed Marriage and Family therapist with over 20 years experience, I have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of individuals and couples going through many different life experiences. I am a therapist who listens, helps support client goals, meets the client where they are at in their life, and encourages clients to look closely at one’s life and choices both in the session, and in between sessions.
College can be exciting and full of new experiences, but it can also bring a lot of pressure. Between academics, relationships, and figuring out your future, it is easy to feel stressed, anxious, or unsure of yourself. Therapy offers a chance to slow down, reflect, and work through whatever feels heavy right now. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally aware. I focus on helping students manage stress, anxiety, and relationship challenges while building self-understanding and confidence. Sessions are available online for students across California, and my goal is to make therapy a supportive space where you can be heard and find balance.
Life can be many things—colorfully painful, beautifully complicated, and at times, completely overwhelming. And it doesn’t come with a how-to guide. We all experience complicated twists and unexpected turns that cause sadness, worry, anger, and destructive patterns with food, drugs, alcohol, and within our closest relationships. I help children, adults, families, and couples break free from unhealthy cycles, rewrite their life narratives, and make changes to create a life truly worth living. Our lives are too short to lose precious time to unhappiness, feeling hopeless, and being “stuck” in the same vicious cycles. Through therapy, I can help you create a richer, more meaningful and fulfilling life for yourself, your family, and your relationships.
Hi there! I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, or are struggling with lingering effects of trauma. Some may feel stuck in negative thought patterns, disconnected from themselves and others, or unsure how to break free from cycles of self-doubt and fear. Many of my clients come to therapy wanting to develop skills to navigate life's challenges, build self-esteem, foster healthier relationships, and heal. Most of my work has been with young adults navigating life stressors. I foster inclusivity and take an integrative approach to therapy in order to tailor the therapy process to best suit you. I understand the next step can seem daunting. Feel free to reach out, and we can take that next step together. Whether you're seeking relief from overwhelming emotions or looking to break free from past trauma, I’m here to support you on your journey to healing, resiliency, and self-discovery.
I believe that therapy is a place where you can put your protective armor down and have permission to be your most authentic self. My hope is to hold a safe space where you can navigate through the challenges that life throws at us, especially when the pressure to hold everything together becomes too heavy and overwhelming.

When people ask me what my ideal client I actually wonder what's people's ideal therapists? I think this is important when thinking about an ideal client and therapists because I see it as a collaborative work. I'm not here to force you what I think is best for you, therapy is something both the client and therapist figure out together to meet the clients' needs and goals. I find it important to keep in mind intersectionalities and how society and culture play an important role. I enjoy working with different diversities such as LGBTQ+, culture, and etc. I also work with trauma using informal exposure, art therapy, teen therapy, and couples therapy. I also love doing work involving aspects of DBT therapy such as mindfulness. I know the therapy process is hard, but I want to try to make anyone feel they can be themselves (sometimes I use humor when appropriate). Searching for the right therapist is hard so whether it's me or not I encourage you to keep looking and find who's right for you out there. Feel free to reach out for a phone consult or email!
