Alessandra Griffin
College can be both exciting and overwhelming, a time of exploration, pressure, and major life transitions. I work with students who are learning how to balance it all: academics, relationships, identity, and the uncertainty of what comes next. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stuck, homesick, or unsure about your path, therapy can be a space to slow down, get curious, and reconnect with yourself.
I’m currently pursuing my M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at NYU and earned my B.S. from Emerson College. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, guided by your unique strengths, values, and goals. I often draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps us move through self-doubt, perfectionism, or comparison, and focus on what really matters to you.
I especially enjoy working with women, those navigating relationship challenges, stress, or women’s health concerns. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can learn to manage difficult emotions, build resilience, and feel more grounded in who you are, both on campus and beyond.
Sessions are available in person or virtually. Feel free to reach out by email or phone with any questions or to schedule a free consultation. I have flexible availability.
